RAMA RAO
My life
has been a long winding lane.
Many a
strange sight it has come across in the dark silent corners through which it
passed.
Now that
it has reached this bright high road, it has lost, alas, much of its old
romance.
Whoever
has known the mystery of this endless ocean, they call life?
I, who
have never been a diver, know not what strange things may lurk in the dark
fathomless depths.
I have
ever been a glider, skating on the surface; yet, have I crossed and recrossed
this strange ocean, while, alas! mighty swimmers and daring divers have come to
grief in crossing this same strange ocean.
