WHO ARE YOU?
In night you come,
with dawn go,
In dark and fear I
behold;
Behind the dazzle with
eyes closed.
Who comes to wipe my
tears?
A
soft word to say and cheer?
In pain a touch, in
fall a hope,
In sorrow so kind and
sure;
I grasp a hand;
Who are you?
From far, further far,
Thy voice comes
gentle, so sweet,
In the breeze over the
leaves,
Where
the branches meet.
In temple rush and
roar,
Thy
voice no more.
Its roof mean and low,
Thy glory
not hold and show.
