READERS’ MAIL
“As usual, your editorial” Creativity and Instution” in the last issue
is unusually a valuable one. It is the impression of almost all the readers of
the journal”
-Dr. D. Jacob,
Machilipatnam
“Let me comment in clear words that your scholarship is enviable, which
is reflected in all your editorials.
Your suggestions as to cultivation of the faculty of memory are valuable, based
upon experience. But, I am relating my own case. I am on the border-line of 86
years, constantly busy reading and writing. Of late, for the past three years I
suffer from peculiar loss of memory, which refuses to be amenable to any
obvious explanation. I forget the names of my own near and dear ones who are
constantly in my service around me. Sometime, I am conversing with my own
daughters and forget their names, names of their husbands or children.
Occasionally, the situation becomes much too ridiculous …. ‘Memory plays the
trick’.
-Dr. R. S.
Tiwary, Faizabad.
“The latest number of your eagerly looked forward to Quarterly has also
arrived and as usual, I first devoured your TRIPLE STREAM and found it as
interesting and informative as always. I only wished a few names of our own
contemporary “ashtavadhanis” had been mentioned so that bearing as I do a big
board ‘TO LET’ in the right hemisphere of my own brain, where ‘memory’ should
have been tenanted I could gloat over the glory of my compatriots at least!
Some other articles which I have liked are “On Obesity” ( for its witty
humour), “Value Oriented approach to Higher Education” (for its own value and
timeliness) and “Shobha De” (for its unbiased frankness.”)

“One thing I feel sorry to digest is that there are certain printing
mistakes”

“Your editorial”, Is memory God’s gift?” is informative and
enlightening. The whole magazine makes an interesting reading”.

“I always wait for the next issue of TRIVENI which is full of variety
of articles and poems besides views and reviews on other aspects of life as
well”
Dr.

“I feel that the ‘Indian Political Scene’ a review by Dr.R.Gangadhara
Sastry, is not necessary in a journal completely devoted to one of literature
and culture. Any review will have the touch of a personal opinion, which may
not be to the liking of all readers of TRIVENI. Hence, I wish that hereafter
this one might be deleted and these pages utilised for literary topics. I hope
that the other readers of the Journal will agree with me”.

Great authors.”
