craving to gain land

watch it sublimate
as I stand beyond the

men with bushy beards
covering the white patches on
their chins

watch them.
Tall-talks,
table-talks and white-talks

overhear
as I sail on the waters of the

know for certain
there will come a day
when the creeks curtain
all that is gained in the bay.

know for certain
the bright white light
will inevitably maintain
unity of the spectral fight.
